Team Meeting: Research and Planning
we had a group meeting today to discuss what days would be be effective for filming. Therefore, we decided to stick with wednesday as it is raining and we need rainy weather for our filming. we used BBC weather as it is the most reliable and effective and have decided to film on wednesday as it will be raining. We also decided to film on thursday as the Photography Studio is available for use and therefore very important to use for one vital scene. We then decided to use the rest of the Half term to film since they are hose scenes making it easier to manage our time effectively for filming.
Moreover, we discussed plans for effects or filming shots we would like to use for our music video. we decided that we wanted to add the earthquake effect in our music video therefore, we watched youtube videos of how it would look. We also wanted to see if we could use the fake rain effect however, we decided we would rather use british weather.

Pitch Feedback
we did our group informal pitch to the class. In the end we got feedback from our class. We came together and decided what ideas we were going to take forward and which ones we were going to reject as we felt we have discussed the ideas thoroughly and our project does not require change.

Music Video Practise - Filming
In today's lesson we filmed the music video. We used a canon 600 to film the music video. We used free hand for most of the music video however we still used the tripod when filming the beginning of the video. We had to hold a sheet up with the storyboard and lyrics for the actor to play the role fitting to the storyboard and getting the lyrics right. Moreover we played the song let it go in order for the lyrics to be in sync with the video. Overall, it was a good experience and helped us get familiar with the cameras and equipment. Also I was able to get familiar with the settings on the camera and to use manual or auto and also settings for filters. The experience was good but proved filming is hard work and takes a lot of time and energy to film the perfect product.
Music Video Practise
Lesson - Practise Music Video
Storyboard for the music video
we came together into a group of 3 and we created a storyboard. This helped us combine all our ideas into one for the music video. This was helpful because it made the perfect video story as all combined ideas created the perfect music video for us. The storyboard was really important as we were able to design a story for the music video and when it came to filming it became a lot easier to place everything together. This was because we were able to look at the storyboard and film everything efficiently.
Lyrics Analysis
For our chosen song for the music video we took down the lyrics and analysed them. This was very helpful as breaking down the lyrics and finding the true meaning behind the lyrics allowed us to reflect the lyrics in our music video. For instance the lyrics mainly exemplified an aggressive and passionate manner therefore we incorporated that into our music video.

Music Video Practice Final Product and Evaluation
After editing we exported our product into a film to upload onto YouTube. The end product was good however adjustments could have been made to improve the video. For instance more time to film or edit so we could include props in our video to improve it. Also to improve our knowledge on editing softwares since it would become much more easier to use plus we would be able to use heavy special effects to make our music video realistic.there was also an issue with the lip sync as in many parts it didn't fit well the music therefore this is another mistake we can look at and improve whilst creating the final product so time management is very important. This activity helped as it proved my editing ability was better than the filming production side. Moreover, it also encouraged that I am a good theoretical person as I am better with ideas and putting together a story for the music video. It also helped with time management and proved how organized we need to be when creating the final product.
